Community Guidelines

SacredBond is more than an app. It is a community of believers who are serious about finding a life partner through faith, intentionality, and God's guidance. These guidelines exist to protect that community and ensure every member feels safe, respected, and valued. By joining SacredBond, you commit to upholding these standards in every interaction on the Platform.

1. Be Honest and Authentic

Use your real name, real photos, and accurate information on your profile
Do not misrepresent your faith background, relationship status, or intentions
If your circumstances change, update your profile accordingly
Honesty is the foundation of any godly relationship — it starts here

2. Treat Everyone With Respect and Dignity

Communicate with kindness, patience, and grace
Do not send offensive, rude, or dismissive messages
Respect that a pass or non-response is a valid choice and does not warrant harassment
Do not pressure, manipulate, or coerce other users
Remember that every person on this platform is made in the image of God

3. Keep It Pure and Appropriate

Do not send sexually explicit messages, photos, or voice messages
Keep all conversations on the Platform in line with Christian values
Do not request or share intimate photos of any kind
Language should be clean, edifying, and respectful at all times

4. Be Intentional

SacredBond is designed for people who are genuinely ready for a serious relationship leading to marriage
Do not join the Platform for casual interaction or entertainment
Honor the weekly match limit by genuinely engaging with the people you are shown
If you accept a connection, commit your attention and prayer to that person

5. Protect Privacy

Do not share another user's personal information outside the Platform without their consent
Do not take screenshots of other users' profiles or conversations to share publicly
Do not attempt to find another user on other social platforms without their permission
Respect the boundaries that others set around their personal information

6. Use the Platform Safely

Never send money to or accept money from another user on the Platform
Report any user who asks you for financial assistance immediately
Be cautious about sharing personal contact details until you have built genuine trust
If anything feels unsafe or inappropriate, report it immediately using the report feature

7. Community Feed Standards

Posts in the community feed must be uplifting, faith-centered, and appropriate for all ages
Do not use the community feed to advertise products, services, or other platforms
Do not post content that promotes division, controversy, or denominational conflict
Prayer requests should be treated with reverence and responded to with the Praying response only
Testimonies shared on the Platform are sacred — respond with encouragement and not criticism

8. Zero Tolerance Violations

The following violations will result in immediate and permanent removal from the Platform with no appeal:

Any sexual content involving minors
Threats of violence or physical harm against any person
Harassment campaigns or targeted abuse of any user
Deliberate impersonation of another person or a SacredBond staff member
Attempting to scam, defraud, or financially exploit other users

9. Reporting

If you encounter any behavior that violates these guidelines, please use the Report feature on the user's profile or message. Our admin team reviews all reports and takes appropriate action. False or malicious reports submitted to harm innocent users are also a violation of these guidelines.

10. Consequences

Violations of these guidelines may result in a warning, temporary suspension of your account, permanent removal from the Platform, or reporting to law enforcement where applicable. SacredBond reserves the right to make moderation decisions at our sole discretion in order to protect the community.
