Terms of Service

By creating an account on SacredBond ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and our Community Guidelines. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SacredBond. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

To use SacredBond, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Be legally permitted to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction
• Not be prohibited from using the Platform under applicable laws
• Not have been previously removed or banned from the Platform
• Identify as a Christian and be genuinely interested in a faith-based relationship leading to marriage

SacredBond uses a controlled application and approval process. Creating an account does not guarantee access to all Platform features. All applicants must go through our review process and receive approval before being visible to other users or accessing matching features.

You agree to provide accurate and complete information, maintain and update your information, keep your account credentials confidential, notify us immediately of any unauthorized use, and be responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

We reserve the right to reject any application, suspend any account, or remove any user at our sole discretion.

4.1 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Provide false, misleading, or inaccurate information at any time
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your identity
• Use the Platform for any purpose other than genuine faith-based relationship seeking
• Harass, abuse, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Send unsolicited messages, spam, or promotional content
• Post or transmit sexually explicit, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to extract personal contact information from other users through coercion
• Use the Platform to solicit money or financial assistance from other users
• Create multiple accounts or duplicate accounts
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or use the Platform
• Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the proper functioning of the Platform
• Use the Platform to engage in any illegal activity

4.2 Content Standards

Any content you post must not contain nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, hate speech, intellectual property infringement, viruses or malware, or violations of any third party's privacy.

Users may only maintain one active accepted connection at a time. Accepting a new connection while already connected will automatically terminate the previous connection and notify both parties. This policy is enforced automatically and cannot be bypassed.

To encourage intentionality, users are limited to viewing a maximum of three match suggestions per week on a rolling seven-day basis. This limitation is a core feature of the Platform's design philosophy and cannot be circumvented.

By submitting a pastor reference request, you confirm that you have the permission of your pastor to provide their contact information, the information you provide is accurate, and you understand that your pastor will be contacted directly by SacredBond. We reserve the right to revoke verification badges if inaccurate information was provided.

The Platform and its original content, features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of SacredBond and its licensors. You may not use our name, logo, or trademarks without our prior written permission. By posting content on the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Platform.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

SACREDBOND MAKES NO GUARANTEES REGARDING RELATIONSHIP OUTCOMES. We are a platform designed to facilitate introductions between compatible Christian individuals. We do not guarantee that use of the Platform will result in a romantic relationship, courtship, engagement, or marriage. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SACREDBOND, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, ANY INTERACTIONS WITH OTHER USERS, OR ANY RELATIONSHIP OUTCOMES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SacredBond and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Platform.

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason including if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Platform settings.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Ontario, Canada.
